That is fine with me. I do think that if there is a tie for the championship or 2nd or 3rd that there needs to be a playoff. Why play six months to have championship decided by a tiebreak?

Steve, The 2nd part should be a double round-robin so I'm game for a playoff if necessary! 2 games @ Game/25?

In the event of a tie after after two game/25, then two games at game/15, followed by two games at game/5 (if needed). If things are still tied up declare Co- Champions?

Time to think about if there is a tie for sixth place in the qualifier. Weldin says the computer decides the tiebreak, and I am sure it will. Will it consider the extra rated games that are played but not included in the qualifier standings? I would think the first tiebreak would be head-to-head results.

Stan, Do you mean the head -to-head that was played during the Qualifier? Or to have a 2 game playoff? Also, if you volunteer for the Events Committee you can be in on the ground floor for 2008. Call Johnny and he will explain what our soft wear uses. Of course if you win all your remaining games you will be in the Championship anyway. ;D 64squares
