Stan or Scott would Nelson County Chess Club be interested in having a USCF rated tournament at your normal meeting site maybe sometime in late March? I would be willing to TD it, if there is enough interest.
Hopefully, it would encourage some of your membership to join the USCF if they can see three USCF rated tournaments coming up that are close to them, one in Bardstown, Elizabethtown, and the Kentucky Open.
Johnny you may have to help me submit it. I’ve played with the software a little, but maybe I could TD our Tuesday tournament coming up for practice.

It would still be nice for the ones of us that have club status TD to finish of the requirements and take the local level test. I think Johnny can take his test and Weldin could too. I think I have only assists. I believe that one has to be the main TD 3 times to take the test.
As for Bardstown, Bearnos Pizza has moved into the Blue Dragon space and now has a sports bar. Mullins can fill in some details but I would think that it could happen.

Stark's gonna be mostly tied up with arrangements for his K-12 Tournament Apr 29. I would think once the Library gets moved, space and interest would be available. I would help to have more rated players at the NCCC meeting, to tout membership advantages... March 15, at Bearno's Pizza, 6:30...

We don’t have to have the tournament at the end of March. I was just hoping that would encourage some Bardstown players to come to the Etown tournament. Anytime you want to have a USCF rated tournament in Bardstown I would be willing to TD it. Just give me at least a weeks notice.
