It has finally been confirmed; Bernard Parham legendary Chess Teacher, Innovator, former Indiana State Champion, and former National Master will give a presentation on Chess, the Matrix System, Parham Attack, and related topics at 7PM room 516 ECTC 13 April. While the Presentation is offered at no cost to the Chess Community and interested "friends of chess" a donation of $5.00 is suggested per person to help offset the expenses involved in bringing Master Parham to Elizabethtown. Don't miss this rare opportunity. Bring a friend, spouse, son, or daughter and enjoy a unique evening of chess.

Johnny - got this from Jerry Baker through a KCF private message
I've signed and paid entry for this tournament, however I'm afraid I won't be able to make it. Keep my entry fee to help with your organizational efforts or prize fund. I like to see tournaments held around the state besides Lexington and Louisville.
I'll do my best to make the next tournament though. Daughter's dance recital got in the way of this one.
Hope the tournament is successful.

If we have anyone interested in getting a DVD recording of Parham's lecture for April 25, please let me know. The cost will be $5 per DVD. Also, if you are interested in getting a DVD copy for last year's lecture to let me know. Again the cost is $5.
I need to know before Friday's lecture in order to determine if there are enough people interested.
Thanks, Ernie
